The GCC participates in Seoul International Inventions Fair 2019


GCC- Seoul

The GCC represented by the GCC Patent Office, participated in the Seoul International Inventions Fair 2019 during the period from 27 to 30 November 2019, with the aim to encourage and support the GCC inventors and market their inventions to investors visiting the Fair, and highlight the efforts of the GCCPO in this field.

The GCC pavilion was inaugurated by the ambassadors of the GCC States in Seoul in the presence of the Director General of the GCC Patent Office, where they reviewed the inventors of the GCC States inventions, which were hosted by the GCC Secretariat to participate in this international Fair.

Participated in the GCC pavilion; Inventor Rashid Hamdan Al Ghafari from the United Arab Emirates through his invention " RM-Yplex ", Inventor Ali Abdullah Ismail from the Kingdom of Bahrain through his invention " rescue system for swimming pools", Inventor Norah Abdullah Al-Kubaisi from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through her invention "the use of gold nanoparticles to inhibit plant viruses", Inventor Hajar Hamad Jalboubi from the Sultanate of Oman through her invention "the production of biofuels from algae", Inventor Mohammed Hassan Al-Jufairi from the State of Qatar through his invention " Sludge Eye" and Inventor Sarah Yousef Abu Arjib from the State of Kuwait through her invention "detector of bone fractures".

The GCC also hosted the winner of the first place in the competition of creative thinking and innovation that took place as part of the activities of the GCC days held in Kuwait, Inventor Mishari Saad Al-Mutairi from the State of Kuwait through his invention "treatment of oil contaminated soil".

It is worth mentioning that the selection of inventors GCC participating in the Fair was by a specialized team of judges to select the best inventions submitted to participate.
